Bee Policy, Waiver, & Guarantee

By ordering package bees, nucs, or single hives from Beekeepers.com—whether online, by phone, email, in person, or by mail—you agree to the following policies, terms, conditions, and limitations.

  1. Scheduling & Availability
    At Beekeepers.com, we strive to provide your package bees, nucs, or single hives on the scheduled date. However, production is influenced by factors beyond our control, such as weather patterns. As a result, we may need to adjust the scheduled pickup dates or make other accommodations. If there are any changes, we will notify you via email or text.

  2. Live Arrival Guarantee
    We guarantee that your bees will arrive alive and with a queen. However, we do not guarantee the success of establishing a colony or hive from the package, nuc, or hive. Once the bees are delivered to you, Beekeepers.com is not responsible for their survival, productivity, or any other outcome related to their health or performance. We do not offer refunds for bees that fail to survive after delivery.

  3. Queen Guarantee
    We guarantee the queen's health for 48 hours after pickup. If the queen dies, fails to lay eggs, or goes missing within this period, we will replace her once for a $25 fee. Any subsequent queen replacements will be charged at full price.

  4. Refunds & Restocking Fee
    All refunds are subject to an $80 restocking fee. No refunds will be issued within three weeks of the (tentative) pickup date.

  5. Pickup Policy
    All bee packages, nucs, and hives are PICKUP ONLY.
