TESTING KIT - VARROA MITE

• Developed by the University of Minnesota's own Bee Squad, this test kit makes it easier for beekeepers to monitor varroa mite levels in their colonies. Includes tools you need to perform a varroa mite alcohol wash test is in one convenient tub! Does not include alcohol.

  Kit includes:

  • Plastic tub for collecting the bee sample and displaying mites for counting
  • Two 1-pint (16 ounce) plastic mason jars
  • Two solid jar lids
  • Two screen mesh jar lids
  • 1/2 cup measuring spoon
  • Plastic handheld magnifying glass
  • Instructions for performing a varroa mite alcohol wash
